About VecSnap

Snapped to shape.

In a design tool, a point snaps into place when it lands on the grid. VecSnap does that to a whole image. A traced edge leaves a point at every wobble; we want each edge to settle onto the shape it was meant to be.

What we make

Files for the people who open them.

VecSnap turns images into SVG files you can work with: real shapes, few anchor points, layers you can find. We make it for designers, illustrators and developers who zoom in and notice every extra point.

The same image up close. Each picture is that tool's own file: drag it, or zoom in anywhere. Every feature, on real files

Our own engine

Built and trained in-house.

Parts of the engine are machine-learning models we trained ourselves, and the rest is geometry. Nothing is resold from another service.
  • Trained by usOur models were trained here, in-house.
  • Checked every releaseA change that makes files worse does not ship.

Before every release we check the engine against drawings whose true SVG we already know.

What we stand for

Four promises, kept in the product.

Each one is something you can check yourself, on your own image.

The file is the proof.

Every result shows its anchor points and file size, so you can judge it before you pay.

Your work stays yours.

Nothing you convert is shown to anyone else, and there is no public gallery.

One credit, one image.

Re-runs, formats and downloads of that image are free after that.

Conversion failed0 credits spent

A failure costs nothing.

A conversion that fails has nothing to unlock, so it never costs a credit.
